I am Alex G, a Product Designer based in Western Canada (MST- time zone) who is enjoying the hybrid world of working from home and on-site workshops.

With combined 10+ years of experience in UX, UI, UXR and Design Strategy and with a background in Industrial Design,  I've collaborated with cross-functional teams in Canada, USA, Mexico, China and Korea designing products for companies like Evans Hunt, General Dynamics, Samsung Electronics and Honeywell.

I am a people-centric solutions advocate,  passionate about practicing design thinking and making a positive impact on people's lives.  I enjoy the discovery phase and having those conversations that align teams on why we should work on a given project.

Looking toward the future, I am looking for opportunities where I could continue being a mentor and build a design practice and culture. I see myself as a facilitator, enabling collaboration that turns challenges into cohesive delightful experiences that create both value for the business that builds them and the people that use them.

I love travelling and seeing how the world experiences life. I am a DYI lover, a dancer at heart, a fitness enthusiast, and a Co-founder of Kimonio. Lately have been enjoying illustration and animation.  My dream is to one day publish a book for my little one. Stay tuned world!
